Journey of the Soul is a compilation of Shamanic Gatherings dedicated to bringing shamanic spiritual practices and healing modalities into the 21st Century. The gatherings vary from a one day workshop, weekend gatherings, to a 5 day Vision Quest, encompassing teachings from the basics of journeying to advanced shamanic healing techniques.
Throughout time, Shamanism, has been a way of life, teaching us to walk in both worlds combining earthly traditions and spiritual practices with the importance of community. Shamanic Journeying is a way to access information and healing for ourselves and communities for the betterment of the Earth and her people. It expands our own knowledge and opens up a Sacred Space within which invites Spirit to teach us and help us "remember" the Journey of Our Soul. For those drawn or called to Shamanism/Journey work, we invite you to join us.
Each Gathering and Training is held in an intimate setting at the
office of Donna Callaghan in Chicago Heights Illinois, allowing for
a more individualized and hands-on
learning experience.
In the spirit of community, students are welcome to join a
Circle gathering, the 2nd Monday of each month from 7 to
9pm beginning September 10th for a love donation of $10.
Each month’s circle will have a pre-arranged focus along with an
intention to hold space for the healing of Mother Earth.

Shamanic journeying is the process of moving into an altered state of consciousness, 'non-ordinary reality', to deepen our connection to Spirit, receive divine guidance, access information, experience healings on many levels, as well as facilitate healing experiences for others. By bringing the teachings of Shamanism into our daily lives, we can more fully experience our own divinity, our innate understanding of the Oneness of all life, and 'mirror' these Spiritual Truths to the World. You will learn the basic skills of Shamanic Journeying. By utilizing the beat of a drum, you will learn how to move into an altered state of consciousness to gain access to the upper, middle, and lower worlds of non-ordinary reality, extraordinary energy realms filled with teachers, guides, knowledge and healing. We will be covering the basics of how to create a sacred space to journey from within and how to work with your power animal. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a blanket, a drum and/or rattle if you have one. There will be some available to use for the weekend. Come & Enjoy! For more information |

Spirit of
Trauma
New

Spirit of Trauma, generational trauma, is an energetic wound created from emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual trauma which is passed down our generational lines until it is healed. By healing Spirits of Trauma, we break the cycles of trauma within our families and ourselves. This is a gift we give to ourselves, our families and the world.
Extractions Saturday, October 12th & Sunday, October 13th, 2008 Extraction is the process of removing energetic blockages, intrusions and attachments we have collected through our walk of life, which impede us from clear thoughts, manifesting our dreams, and realizing our true selves.
Death & Dying
Saturday, Nov 8th & Sunday, Nov 9th, 2008 We live in a society which is afraid of death and a time in our world where there is much violent death. As a result, there can be difficulty in a soul's progression in crossing over. By learning about death and how to help souls cross over, we are offering one of the most sacred and holy services to our world.
Soul
Retrieval
February 7th & 8th, 2009 Soul loss is a survival technique of our being to protect us from all types of traumatic experiences throughout our lifetime. When a piece of our soul leaves and is unable to return, we can manifest depression, inability to move forward and powerlessness. This phenomenal healing technique changes lives by helping to return balance and restore the ability to create the life we choose.
Walking in both Worlds
Saturday, April 18th & Sunday, April 19th, 2009 Walking in both worlds is the culmination of living each day connected to Spirit and incorporating sacred knowledge into our daily lives. We will be working with song, silence, community and nature to help illuminate this aspect of shamanism. Extraction New date to be announced soon! This weekend includes: techniques and journeys to spiritually assist one in the process of dying, helping lost souls to cross, (depossession training) as well as helping the earth release the trauma and/or lost souls associated with war and violence. We will also be exploring more in-depth tools and techniques to deepen your skills in extraction, including Skull Medicine and cleansing the energy of houses/structures and parcels of land.

Clearing the Path Training
This moment in
history, is a time of great transition and opportunity, calling us to
remember the knowledge in our souls. The Clearing the Path technique,
developed by Donna Callaghan, combines sound, relaxing treatments and
the Light of the Universe to cleans what keeps us from knowing
wholeness. This gentle and effective process, realigns us spiritually,
physically and emotionally, melding our connection to ‘Heaven and Earth’

Working with
Clients I: Next date to be announced soon! Working with clients is an honor and a responsibility which is multi-faceted, encompassing boundaries, ethics, good record keeping and respectful follow-through During this one day workshop we will cover: pre-journeys, sacred space, energetic integrity, ethics, boundaries, advertising, case notes, an overview of basic information to assist in creating the optimum experience for both the client and practitioner.
